Frank McCormick

DIRECTOR

Frank McCormick is a distinguished educator and leader with over ten years of experience at Waukegan High School and Loyola Academy. A native of Lake Bluff and graduate of Lake Forest High School and Lake Forest College—where he earned a dual major in Education and History and was awarded the Senior Prize in Student Teaching—Frank has taught U.S. History, Geography, and Economics to over 1,500 students. He has served as a grade-level team leader and lead curriculum designer and is a proud Kappa Delta Pi International Honor Society in Education member. His innovative curriculum design and dedication to student success have earned him several honors, including the CSI Teacher Appreciation Award. Beyond the classroom, Frank has actively contributed to professional development and community advocacy as a certified Library of Congress trainer and advisory member on Lake Forest College's Advisory Committee. He lives in Lake Forest with his wife and son.

Jeff Brincat

President

Jeff Brincat is a decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran with over six years of active duty, during which he commanded Tank, Infantry, and Fleet Anti-Terrorist Security Force units, ultimately reaching the rank of Captain. He serves on the National Board of the Marine Corps Law Enforcement Foundation, dedicated to supporting the children of fallen Marines, and is deeply involved in veteran welfare, especially in addressing homelessness and suicide prevention. Brincat is also the founder, owner, and CEO of a consumer finance company with an annual contract volume of $180 million, following a career in which he held leadership roles across various operational functions in consumer finance. He actively contributes to Israeli and educational causes, annually providing scholarships for orphans of the Israel Defense Forces, serving as Finance Chair for the Israel Parasports Sport Center, and sponsoring Camp Brincat at the Israel Arts and Sciences Academy in Jerusalem, where he also serves on the board. Additionally, he has served as a Trustee at Lake Forest Country Day School and is a founding member of the Illinois Executive Mansion Foundation and the Lake Forest Police Foundation. From 2015 to 2020, Brincat served as Chairman of the Illinois Racing Board, overseeing the regulation of horse racing under two Illinois governors, Bruce Rauner and JB Pritzker. Brincat holds degrees in history and economics from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from Lake Forest College. He resides in Lake Forest, Illinois, with his wife and six children.

Philippe Melin

CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER

Philippe Melin is a dedicated community advocate and father of children in the Lake Forest public schools. With a background in law and extensive experience in political campaign management, Philippe brings a strong commitment to transparency and accountability in education. As a founding member of Parents Care, he works to ensure that our schools remain focused on high academic standards, fiscal responsibility, and the well-being of every student. Philippe believes that engaged communities create stronger schools and better outcomes for students.
