The Lake Forest Scouts (22-9 overall, 10-4 in conference play) wrapped up an exciting regular season, finishing just one game out of first place in the North Suburban Conference. Their strong play earned them the No. 2 seed in the Class 3A Antioch Sectional Tournament, positioning them as a serious contender for a deep postseason run.

A season highlight includes a thrilling victory over Libertyville to complete a season sweep, with standout performances from Jake Fisher and Chris Chose leading the charge.

The Scouts have already won their first two sectional games, defeating Chicago Amundsen 56-25 and Vernon Hills 50-25.

Their next challenge is the semifinal match against Deerfield on Wednesday, March 5, at 6 PM in Antioch.

They won their first-round matchup against Wheaton Academy 56-36 but fell short against Cary-Grove on February 20.

According to a Lake Forest Scout report, senior Maggie McIntyre has been a leader on and off the court, while sophomore standout Emily Davis has provided key contributions. Despite their recent loss, the Scouts fought hard throughout the season and look forward to continued growth.
