Marina is passionate about advocating and serving for parental and child rights and school accountability. With both her experience and passion, we know she will be an invaluable asset in empowering Parents Care to hold our schools accountable to parents and taxpayers in producing high academic achievement, student-first budgets, and transparency.

Introducing Marina Diambri
Marina Diambri, a lifelong resident of Lake County and an education law attorney distinguished for her well-rounded legal career, is a tenacious advocate with an unwavering commitment to excellence in every legal endeavor.
Marina specializes in representing parents and students while bringing expertise, advocacy, and a deep understanding of the legal complexities involved in education matters.
She honed her skills while serving as an Assistant State's Attorney at the Lake County State's Attorney's Office, where she gained valuable trial experience and advocacy skills as a prosecutor. She also worked with some of the most reputable law firms in the Chicagoland area. It was at these law firms where Ms. Diambri continued to hone her skills and knowledge in various areas of law; however, she decided to dedicate her legal career to supporting parents and their students in education law, special education law, school discipline matters, bullying investigations, post-secondary matters (which can include appealing post-secondary dismissals, DCFS and child welfare issues, and guardianship matters.
Marina's knowledge, consultation, and representation in protecting the rights and interests of parents and students in various educational contexts is instrumental. Her expertise ensures students receive equitable access to quality education, addressing disciplinary actions, discrimination, and special education services. She navigates the complex web of educational laws and advocates for fair treatment, appropriate accommodations, and educational opportunities.
By serving as an advocate, she empowers parents and students to effectively engage with schools and districts, ultimately fostering an educational environment that supports a student to reach the fullest of their potential.
Marina decided to join forces with Parents Care because she recognizes that education is a fundamental right.
In her experience, few parents and students realize they have protections guaranteed to them under the law to ensure the student is appropriately educated.
She also has found that few parents and students know they may be afforded legal remedies should the school infringe on these rights. Marina deeply believes in holding our schools accountable for the educational well-being of students and the importance of a solid academic foundation.
Marina is committed to using her legal expertise to empower Parents Care to ensure students, parents, and taxpayers receive the best from their school districts and elected Board representatives.
